I’m Marko Prekić Kentera, a Belgrade-based poet and literature enthusiast dedicated to making rare and forgotten public domain works accessible through translation, with a focus on the French Symbolist movement. I use collaborative AI-assisted methods to create these translations, which I share freely for other readers to discover and enjoy. This site takes its name from its most ambitious project—the annotated translation of Léon Hennique’s novel. While this work remains the centrepiece, I will also be sharing other literary translations and my own original poetry in Serbian, starting with Тросвит, as well as selected poetry in my translation, principally from Théodore de Banville but including Charles Baudelaire, together with my work-in-progress: a Serbian rendering of Algernon Charles Swinburne’s magnificent Ave Atque Vale. Feel free to reach out at marko.prekic@yahoo.com if you’d like to discuss the works or the translation process.
